Thornton Road Closed to Through Traffic Beginning Jan. 9

Thornton Road in Tallahassee will be closed to through traffic starting 9 a.m. Monday, Jan. 9 to accommodate construction activities at the intersection with Mahan Drive. Local traffic will be routed north to Miccosukee Road. Access to Mahan Drive will be available from Edenfield Road via Miccosukee Road. Signage will be in place to direct traffic through the detour. The closure will remain in effect for three weeks, weather permitting.
