Mahan Drive Construction Update

A new traffic signal at Mahan Drive and Edenfield Road in Tallahassee is scheduled to be activated on Tuesday, Nov. 29. Currently, the signal is in flashing mode to allow motorists sufficient time to become accustomed to its presence.
The addition of this signal to the corridor will allow motorists safer access to both Mahan Drive and Edenfield Road. A new signal at Mahan Drive and Walden Road has also been activated and traffic is flowing well during peak travel times.
Arrendell Road will be closed to through traffic until Wednesday, Nov. 23 to accommodate construction. Local traffic is being routed north to Miccosukee Road. Access to Mahan Drive will be available from Edenfield Road and Thornton Road via Miccosukee Road.
In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, the contractor will not work Thursday, Nov. 24 or Friday, Nov. 25.
